For those who have been searching for us using our FloridaFoodies domain, we've encountered a problem that has put us in the middle of an Internet nightmare.
We've known for several months that it was time to renew the domain, but the e-mail account we had used when we originally purchased the domain changed when we changed ISP's last year. We have spent endless hours trying to renew the domain through Google, but to no avail. Everything they tell you to do online doesn't work; we've e-mailed them but they send back a letter that tells you to do exactly what their website says to do (Hey! Isn't that why we wrote to you?); and in the end the domain expired. However, we renewed it and transferred it through GoDaddy.com, but we still can't get it up and running until we can change our registered e-mail address with Google.
Over a week ago, we wrote to Internic with the problem and we're still waiting for their response and help.
Until then, we won't be posting any articles because most of you find us through our domain name.
For those of you who have found us, enjoy the holidays and we promise we'll be up and running soon...hopefully with our domain intact.
