More Halloween Spooks in St. Augustine

St. Augustine, FL – They’ll do their best to keep you from getting “slimed”. And there’s no charge for their services. They are the Palm Coast Ghostbusters, and they’ll be arriving in their ECTO-1B vehicle and bringing their proton packs, PKE meters, and ghost traps to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! for the Family Fright Nights events Halloween weekend.

The Palm Coast, Florida Ghostbusters is a group of dedicated fans of the Ghostbusters franchise and will arrive at Ripley’s in full uniform with “movie quality” props and plenty of comedic interaction with the crowd. The group often appears at fund-raisers and charity events. They are scheduled to appear Friday October 30th and Saturday October 31st. More details are available at www.palmcoastbusters.com

Each prop has been built from scratch to look just like the movie props, and the ECTO-1B is a 1970 Cadillac Miller Meteor transformed from a rusted, blue, soft top to the shiny white replica of the ECTO shown in the newly released Ghostbusters video game.

In addition to the Palm Coast Ghostbusters appearance, Ripley’s is expanding its regular Ghost Train Adventure tours for Halloween week, including Midnight Madness ghost tours Friday and Saturday and a special 3 a.m. Witching Hour Tour Halloween night. There will also be free trick-or-treat candy for the kids and free ghost stories for kids Friday and Saturday beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Please contact Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! at 824-1606 for reservations and more information or go to www.ghosttrainadventure.com.
